This is an incident that happened to my sister’s husband; my brother-in-law told my brother the story.
In 2005, one evening when he was driving to his home in San Francisco, CA he drove thru a road called El Camino Real, in Colma, CA which is famous for having a lot of cemeteries. There are many old families from San Francisco, and famous people are buried in these cemeteries.
The story goes that my brother-in-law made a turn from the El Camino Road on to another road called Serramonte Blvd and drove up a block to an intersection on Serramonte and Hillside Road and there he waited for the light to turn green to make a left turn and when he was entering the intersection he saw the strangest thing late in the day at dusk.
He said it all seemed as if he had entered into a time-warp and he suddenly saw a vision of a group of people dressed in black clothing walking across the street near a cemetery, as he made his left turn and got closer to the group of people he could see that they were walking in a procession behind an old style horse and carriage, then he saw a man dressed in a Victorian style suit and a long top hat. The old fashion dressed man with a pale face got near my brother-in-law’s car and tipped his top-hat, waved his hand and smiled at him. My brother-in –law thought it was strange that a funeral would be going on at that time of the early evening so he looked away for a minute and when he looked back the group of people had disappeared and there was no one else walking or driving near the spot where he had seen his vision; there was no funeral going on at that time of the evening.
He got scared and he drove straight home and called my mom’s house and asked to speak to my brother, my mom said he was so nervous he could hardly talk over the phone then he told my brother the story. Although, everyone in my family was shocked to hear his story; we are a little doubtful about his vision that night because he likes to drink a lot. So, his vision might have been delirium.
