Weird Noises

I moved into my house in March 2006, I knew that the family who had lived there had been unhappy and that the father of the children had killed himself in the house but I was quite sceptical about hauntings etc .. until now ..

Firstly, the house needed decorated which was fine. I had my bedroom painted but as soon as the paint was dry, strange splatter marks appeared on the wall. I had it re done .. and the same thing happened again! I thought nothing of it - just that maybe the plaster on the wall was damaged.

Then, everyday and night I started to hear noises, like as though the chairs were moving downstairs in the kitchen, I would run down to check .. and everything was quiet again. Lights in the kitchen & lounge flickered & fused, the main electrical fuse box has shorted out at least 6 times now & no one can find anything wrong!

The door to the living room sometimes feels as though I cant open it - as though someone is holding it on the other side .. then when I do get it open a huge rush of air explodes out. Same thing with a cupboard under the stairs in the hallway ... I was really starting to run out of natural explanantions now ...

Next... I lost a jacket ... I searched the house high & low ... everything out of every drawer, cupboard & wardrobe & it couldnt be found .. until yesterday ... I put my hand into his wardrobe & there it was just laying on top of some toys .. but it definitely wasnt there before!

Finally .. last night the dogs were outside going mad howling & barking, the noise of the chairs was really loud & happened almost every couple of hours & eventually I went to sleep. This morning I woke up late and my partner had lost his mobile phone , which always stays in his pocket ... he rang me from it earlier to say it was in a zipped pocket in his work bag! How did it get there? Where was my jacket all that time? What are these noises? and why are the doors sticking, the rush of air, the splatter marks on the wall, the fuses all blowing?

Is it to do with the fact that I have the ghost of the man who lived there previously haunting me? Anyone with any explanation or advice pleae email me!
