Where Did It Go?

It was may 2006 my mother, me and my younger sister who is only 3, where travelling over the other side of town to drop me off at school. It was about 8 8:30 and we had just left the house. It was like any other day except my youger sister had not been her self on the drive, as my mother took an alternate route due to road works.

My sister was sitting in the back seat of the car looking mezmerised: out the window was a old abandoned chuch which happened to be right beside a stop sign. My mother stopped at the stop sign and looked both ways. The roads where clear but then out of no where a car appeared about ten metres away. My mother waited there, i was looking out the window at the church.

It was an old run down chuch with wooden slats over the windows and doors. There was half a sign out the side that said "Uniting church" But the weirdest thing of all was the date on the sign: it was a church that had been standing since '1607'. I pointed the sign out to my mother and she was amazed. The car was all silent.

My sister was almost scared to be there she was nervous. She went very quiet then she said " I have been there before mummy". To my mother suprise my mother calmly said "no you havent honey we have never been here before". But my sister was amazed and turned around and glanced at the church and said" No mummy this is where they burnt me, when i was a witch". My mother was stunned and as our family being a very spiritual family there was nothing that my mother could say.

A couple of weeks later my mother, me and my sister where travelling the same route, But to our haunting horror the church was no where to be seen. My mother pulled the car over and stepped out, my sister and i followed her. We all walked around looking for remains of anything but the only thing we could find was a peice of a sign that said '1607'.

Figure that out!
