The White Dress

It was the summer of 1965, my mother and father took a trip to visit my mother's parents who lived on a ranch in Denison, Texas. They arrived in the evening about five o'clock, unpacked thier bags, and decided to go bowling at a new place in town my granny told them about. They arrived back at my grandparent's ranch about 10:30 that night, and my mother proceeded to get ready for bed using the down stairs bathroom. My mother had on a white dress which she removed and hung on a towel hook in that bathroom.

Later that night my parents were lying in bed in an upstairs bedroom talking, and the only light in the room was from the cigarette my father was smoking and the moon shining through an open window in the room, when all the sudden something white floated across the room and out the window. Well both my father and mother could'nt believe thier eyes.

The next morning my mother went down stairs to get dressed and as soon as she stepped into the bathroom she almost fainted, for the white dress she had left hanging was gone!

Till this very day my parents wonder if the white figure they saw floating in front of them was my mother's white dress and if it was how did it get upstairs?
