Words of comfort

My mother passed away back in 1992. She had developed a severe case of Raynauds disease that traversed into other complications. During her last stay at my parents house, she decided to sleep in one of our old bedrooms, as to not keep my father awake from the groans and constant pain that she would experience thru the night. On the night before she had developed a stroke, she wrote something down that my oldest sister gave to me years later. While going thru her possessions after her death, my sister came across a small paper binder and on the page was written,"Do Not Be Afraid", Love "Jesus". It was written in my mothers handwriting, apparantly during her last night before leaving to the hospital.

What I never told my sister is that a couple of nights after the funeral, I stayed in that very room and had a strange wonderful dream. My mother had no ability to speak, due to the stroke. She made many mumbles and groans that never made any sense. In my dream, I went upstairs, what looked like a hospital, but sort of a campus. I walked into a room and outside the room was a brilliant light. It seemed like I was looking at the sun,but it did not hurt my eyes. Suddenly I heard the groans of my mother. Turning around I saw her on a bed, her groans slowly become understandable. She told me that " Everything was going to be alright", " Do not be Afraid".

Some people may think that this is a coincidence, however I believe my Mother was given a message from an angelic messenger. I also believe, and have always believe that those messengers are always watching over me and my family.
