Saturday, September 26th 2008; I went to my friend, Courtney's house for what was suposed to be a normal every weekend sleepover. But it turned out to be one haunting night.

I got there around 5 pm. We went straight up to her room where she told me about how she always heard noises from her closet and one day she saw a face on her wall. After a while we got some cups of water and sat in her room. We said to knock if anyone was there. There was a knock from the closet. We opened the closet door and there was nothing inside. We turned off the light and told it to knock again. Another knock. We went downstairs, leaving Courtneys full cup of water on her table in her room. We told her dad about it and went back upstairs. Courtneys cup of water was empty. We both looked at the closet and started freeking out. Soon, I told her about ouija boards and I made one with some large paper. Yes, home-made ouija boars work. We took a cup and put it on the board and asked it if there was anyone there. It moved to "YES". We asked what its name was. it spelled out D-E-R-E-K. We asked if it was male or female. Derek said Female. We asked how old she was and she said 82. We learned that "Derek" was killed by her dad. Then at one point "Derek" said "dads here" apparently her dad was named Lenard Patterson. We started talking to him. "Lenard" started threatening us that he was going to kill us. As the night drug on with us being grabbed by the arm and being threatened. Around 4 am Courtney finally said "I don't believe this! Is this a joke or prank or something?" the cup moved to "YES". We asked if it was really Lenard and Derek it moved to "NO". We asked who it was and it said "Lenard". We talked to Lenard and found out he was 17 and he was murdered by his step-dad and his body was buried in the wall. The next morning it was a sad good-bye to Lenard. Courtney and I told her mom about it. I told my parents and at school the next day we told our friends. Nobody would believe us.

If we didn't believe ghosts before, we do now.

[Advice: Courtney and I learned that demons can come out of professional made ouija boards. We advise you to make ones out of constrution paper or just paper or cardboard just to keep you and your friends safe.]
