A Hello From Nan

This experince occured on the 27th of Dec 07. We were watching a DVD in Jades bedroom, We were sat on the double bed and suddenly the telly turnt its self off. After calling Jades dad who is an electrician he said there was nothing wrong and he didnt know why it had happened. He left us to it and said try sort it out your self girls if it doesnt work, you can come downstairs and watch it. After 2 mins of fidling with the telly we finally got it to work. And didnt think anything of it.

After watching our film, we went down stairs to Jades kitchen to get something to drink. Jades parents were watching tele in the living room and Jades little brother was out staying over at his friends. Jade said jokingly imange if something else like the telly happend tonight, i told her to shut up and we both laughed. We went back upstairs and opened Jades bedroom door, the room has dropped in temparature and the light was off, and we were sure that the heating on was and we had left the light on, as we knew we wouldnt be downstairs long. As we put our drinks down and sat down the bed, Jade had noticed a picture of her nan who had died a couple of years back on the floor. She looked at the picture and put it back were it was orignally.

By this point we were starting to get pretty spooked, so we went out for a cigarette, we made sure that we turend the light off and left the door open. When we had come back the door was shut and the light was on.. Jade shouted down and asked if her parents had done this.. they replied back that they hadnt been upstairs all night.

Come 10.30pm we had decied that I was going to stay the night and got the pull out bed prepared. Once again the picture had fallen from the top of Jades shelve. Jade looked over at me and said if I moved the picture. I replied no and she moved it once again.

By the morning the picture was on the floor in betwen Jades bed and the pull out bed I was sleeping on.. I asked Jade what the smell was.. Her room had started to smell of her nans perfume.

To this day we believe her nan popped down to say hello.
