I'm Not Alone

I recently ended a very long romantic relationship. I use to live with my ex-boyfriend for several years and recently moved into a apartment that I adored. I was searching for ways to symbolize the end of this toxic relationship that lasted for seven years so I decided to commit to a fast of 10days.

My fast first and foremost was to detox my spirit of negativity and make a spiritual commitment to changing aspects of my life that I don't like. (I have a bad habit of compromising myself for others.) During my fast I feed my spirit w/the words of the Bible and my mind by reading The Secret (Book). I successfully completed the fast during these 10 days. I gave my ex the keys to his Mercedes Benz and bought a 98 Jeep cherokee. I moved out of a 4 story loft and into a 990sq ft condo ironically around the corner, lost 20lbs and met a very interesting man (That's another story). Needless to say my life changed for the better.

However living alone and being alone was a very difficult process for me. Although everything I asked for during my fast was granted to me it still didn't take the place of feeling like you are not alone in the world. In my new apt I had independence even though i didn't have all the fancy things I once had. I didn't even have a sofa. Every friday I would watch a televison program about people who passed on and would send messages back to loved ones who were still living. I loved the show because my father had passed away several years ago and I was blessed enough to be able to recieve messages from him w/out the use of anyone else (a medium).

One night I identified w/a young lady who desparatly wanted to make amends with her father. Recently i had been missing the love that only a man... the one who truly loves you can give you. I was feeling vey much alone and single. Oddly enough throughout the weeks I didn't always feel alone. Sometimes I felt like someone was there but I couldn't see them. I remembered sitting on my air mattress and feeling as if someone was stroking my hair. My hair was down so I got annoyed and put it up in a pony tail. Then I felt as if something was stroking my neck ever so lightly. It felt very warm and comforting. However I was pouting because I was alone. So On this one particular night I decided to speak aloud to whatever or whoever was in my house and this is what I said "Ok! Whoever you are I know You mean me no harm... I know that you want to comfort me but... the truth is I AM ALONE!!!! and if I can't see you then you got to go because I'm not going to be up all night trying to fiqure this out...I've got to go to work in the AM... All of a sudden out of the corner of my eye I saw this flash of lights wave by my face as if to say "GoodBye". I stared at them as they floated about the room it looked like little fire flys or a small firework show. They descended all around me. I don't know how I know this but I know I just witnessed something special and I felt comfortable.

The next day what I experienced keep bothering me so I went to the bookstore to get some information. Right away I went to a special section and found a book that confirmed that what I saw was an Angel. I've seen, smelled, and heard my dad before, but this was different. I feel so blessed. I'm sharing this because some people would think you were dreaming or drinking (lol) but I know what I saw was real and it can be very lonely witnessing a miracle. So I decided to share my experience with anyone who is on a search to find answers about angels. YOU TOO ARE NOT ALONE!!!! BE BLESSED
