I Saw Them All

It was 2008 in June. I was heading home from school, when I got off the tram I realised I had missed my stop ages ago.

i decided to walk half way home. When i was walking, i couldn't help but run, i felt scared but I didn't know why.

I found myself somewhere, I thought wasn't real. But i stood there. In a yard of overgrown gardens, an abandoned home. My friends and family had told me never to go there. But I didn't even know it was real.

Freaked out, I began to talk through the old garden, cause i saw the road on the other side.

I heard footsteps, I spun around but before I had a clear view, i was knocked to the ground. I saw nothing but blur. I was moving but i felt i was still on the ground.

I looked up and saw several people staring down at me. I asked them "who are you" they looked shocked. I heard one of them say "she can see us? how?"

Then i heard another yell at her. I stood up but they looked down. I looked down as well and saw myself, still lying there.

i started to freak out. The people calmed me down. They were dressed in old fashioned clothing. Like from the old western days.

One of the ladies came up to me and said "dear, you are having an out of body experience" i started to freak out even more. Then i looked around, i didn't feel scared anymore.

A man came and said "you must not be afraid child, we are not here to harm you, we need your help" I thought they were in trouble or somthing, but no.

The other lady came to me again and said "everyone is afraid of us, not many people can see us and the ones that can just run for there dear lives" I looked around, there came from the garden and old shack, more people they started at me, smiling yet confused. i asked them what I could do to help.

A young man said to me "tell everyone you know not to be afraid, we may be dead, but we live our new lives trying not to be seen, if you can convice everyone we will not harm them, we would be very thankful" I told them I would do my best.

Then all of a sudden i felt as if i was ripped from thin air and placed back into my body. I awoke and as my eye sight cleard. I glared around and saw transparent people walk into the old shack. one little girl actualy looked back at me and waved.

At first i was freaked out I ran back home. i told my family what had happened. They didn't believe me as it seemed but when i told my grandma, she said somthing to me that made me wonder she said "you have a great gift, you helped them" and smiled.

I somtimes wonder if my grandma knew those people, or some of them anyway. I sometimes get off the tram at the stop on pupose.

I see normal people walking around the garden, children playing.

Somtimes when I go for a walk there and talk to the little kids, i somtimes see that ghost family, they just smile and one of them even mouthed the words, "thank you".

It was actually the best time of my life.
