Hi! I am 22 years old and sometimes wonder about the lady in white that I saw when I was in 8th grade. Seriously. I don't know why she appeared in my house or what she was doing there. I was going through the very very very beginnings of my depression times. I had a really depressing childhood before entering High School. I often wondered if it was all just my depression. I didn't see her directly in front of me, though. Here is my experience:

I was getting ready for school in the morning. I was alone in the house. I am Filipino so trust me there was no way the lady in white could have been my family member. My door was opened to my room. I had a dresser and a mirror over my dresser. The house was small; My door was like a foot away from entering the living room.

Well, I was putting on my make up in the mirror and a flash on the right side of me appeared. In that split second I saw with my peripheal vision, a woman wearing white whose face was white and hair was white...everything was white about her. She was a big glow of white. She was in the living room, to my right when this happened. In that slit second, I literally dropped my make up in my hands and looked out my door to my right towards the living room and there was nothing there. I literally said out loud,"f**k this I'll finish my make up at the bus stop." I threw everything in my bag and quickly left. I was literally scared. I didn't think it was a bad thing but it was an off the wall caught me off guard thing that scared me. It was something I have never been through, she was something I never encountered.

I began to wonder about it today and I just started to google lady in white to see if anyone else had claims of this. I saw several people have but then I saw that there is a movie about a lady in white from back then. I've never seen or heard or knew that movie existed. Something really happened that day. I have no idea why she was there or what she was doing there or why she only appeared for a split second. To this day I wonder and I guess I will never really know. Thinking about it and googling it really gives me goosebumps and chills. I don't know if this is a good thing or bad thing.
