Firstly, I feel I must assert that this story is neither lengthy nor that fantastical. However, it is indeed rather peculiar, peculiar enough to satisfy.
It was a chilled fall night and my friends and I were tired of desperately scrounging around for entertainment. And so we happened upon a bubble tea shop and decided to order ourselves some tea and just sit and relax.
As we walked in we saw a man sitting by the door and we all paused to look at him. His hair fell just a bit past his eyebrows in golden ringlets. He had been blessed with very fine and impeccably well proportioned facial features, and was of a light build. All of these features made him appear very boyish to the point were it seems so out of place to refer to him as a man. His stance was open and friendly, very warm, as if he had been expecting us.
Now, up to this point I do have to admit that nothing seems too out of the ordinary. But what was most out of the ordinary was my reaction. See, from the moment a laid eyes upon him I sensed a profound sense of tenderness and love emanating from him. I felt this huge surge of elation, bordering on sheer euphoria, as my chest swelled with so much positive emotion. I began to think of him as a magical being that had stumbled out of a storybook. A story that took place in a distant and magical world of lore. Then I began to see images of merriment and laughter. He just seemed and "felt" so otherworldly.
Now, this reaction didn't merely break character, but would be an unusual reaction where most people are concerned. But being very rational, I brushed it off as we all went to sit down and order our tea. As the man went to pay, one of my friends leaned forward and whispered, "that guy over by the register has really good energy!" My other friend quickly and eagerly concurred, as did I.
As the man walked away to fade into the night I had the desperate urge to run after him. To this very day I don't know who, or what, he was. All I know is that it wasn't a psychological delusion as my friends later informed me that they had similar experiences that weren't realistically founded, and that occurred all at the very same time.
Our theories range from "good energy" to angelic being. Though, I don't think we'll every really know.
And oddly enough, I wouldn't have it any other way. :)
