My Uncle Albert

My uncle Albert died of lung cancer back in 1977. My father was very close to him as he visited often to talk and "shoot the breeze" until late at night in our backyard.

Well shortly after he died, my dad started seeing his image or spirit quite often (about every 2 weeks to 1 month on avg.). It was always only for a split second or flash of him and he would only see him in the backyard around the barn and livestock area or at my dad's shop. For a long time he would dismiss it as a figment of his imagination and told no one except my mom and she kept silent as well. Finally after nearly 30 years of this continuously going on he told us the story over dinner one night during our visit. He figured that his brother is somehow trying to contact him but doesn't have enough spiritual power to stay in our world for more than a split second at a time who knows? He also has forbidden us to relate this story to any of our relatives especially my Uncle Albert's wife and and children (our cousins)! Oh by the way Albert still makes his "visits" to my dad and probably will till the day he dies!
