A Shadow

When I was only eight years old, I was sitting in my living room watching Spongebob on the TV. My mother was asleep and my father was inside getting his breakfast ready. There wasn't much light in the house and I was bored. I looked over to my mom's room (I lived in an apartment) and I saw a head apparently made of a shadow, stick its head out my room. I didn't scream, nor was I scared. I just looked at it. It seemed to look both ways and then disappear. That was the last I saw of it until I was ten, maybe younger. I was talking to my father and he had gone into my room. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw what looked like a shadow walking in my living room. Once again I didn't scream.
Whenever I listen to music and somone enters my room, I hear what sounds like a high pitched whining sound. I hear that even when nobody enters. I see shadows out the corner of my eyes... and my grandma could do the same thing. Sometimes I think that this 'ghost' followed me to school and such, and it was never mean to anyone in that apartment. So that's my story ;)
