Weird Ghost Story

This happened a long time ago, back in the late 90s. I awoke from my bed, to turn the other way, but when I looked that way I could see monsters everywhere! but I assure you this wasn't a dream...they were black demon looking type, and had yellow and red eyes, well the red was the pupil. I still know the exact detail of how they look like. So I became very scared, and I couldn't move a muscle or even make a sound. I was trying to call for my parents, but I couldn't. I was stuck staring at them right in the eye, grinning all back at me. After I fell asleep again, I woke up, and heard something coming upstairs. I was too frightened to get up and take a look of who was coming upstairs, so I remained in my bed scared, and then I heard a loud hammering noise on the wall, but I can't believe how my parents didn't even hear that! In the morning I had a mirror in front of my door, that had a broken glass, but I did see an image, but I don't remember how it looked like. THIS WASN'T A DREAM! I mean how can a imaginary thing or object move or break a real object! that remains a mystery for me...
