The story you are about to read is true. the month is 03-09. it was a somewhat cold and calm evening. I was sick in bed with the flu. I work for the school board, and had contacted a rather severe strain of the virus from one of my students. I had been in bed for a week, and was still somewhat weak, and unable able to stand up too long. on the day in question I was home with my daughter who was sleeping in the room next to mine. My husband was at work and my son was sleeping in the In-law suite. I was one week and a half into my Illness, when I told myself I was tired of being in the bed, and decided to get up earlier that morning, and went in search of something to drink.I had very little next to nothing to eat, since the virus started. I poured a rather small glass of OJ, and returned to bed. Now, I had not experienced being nauseated since contacting the virus, and was somewhat hopeful of a speedy recovery because of it. That night, I was sleeping when I felt as if I was going to pop what little cookies I had in my abdomen. I awakened and sat up. saying to myself "I haven't felt like this since I've been sick" I realized the feeling was getting stronger, so I forced myself up to go to the bathroom. which was a few feet from my bed. ( At least I thought I did anyway.) because you see, I also had to use the rest room. Somehow I must have fallen back to sleep, because I suddenly had the urge to go really bad. This time I got up to go and suddenly felt as if I was going to PASS OUT, and I did. I remember standing in the doorway to the bathroom, and that was it. now, there was a very soft powered blue rug, the long kind, on the bathroom floor. this rug thanks to my husband ,is usually scattered every which way on the floor, or near the window. when I came too. I was lying in the recovery position on the rug, next to the commode. my head had missed the marbled shower base, by about one or two inches! I do not know how long I was out, because I thought I was in my bed sleeping! it was when I turned over that I realized I was on the bathroom floor. the house was quiet. the family still slept. There was no way I could have fell, and landed in the position that I did. What I have not told you is that my water also broke. but yet, I was not visibily wet. the rug, was not wet. You do the math. Oh, and by the way, this story is one of many. I knew right away that my angels, had once again come and gone. in the nick of time.
