My Story begins on January 23, 1999, I was a convenience store employee at the time. My boss arrived to relieve me that morning. As we proceeded with shift change I asked him how I was doing. He said I was doing a pretty good job, but being a Marine he liked things kept neat and organized. We did a quick walk around the store and he pointed a few things out to me. Since we sold gas we sold auto supplies and he particularly pointed out the motor oil section and showed me how he wanted it kept. I said OK and left for the day.
I arrived for my shift later that night and found out that my boss died of a massive heart attack at the store. I was understandably shaken but I continued my work. About 3 AM the store was empty and suddenly a bottle of motor oil fell of the shelf and it scared the crap out of me!
To make a long story short, on subsequent days no matter
what shift things would mysteriously fall off shelves - the mysterious of all being a 12 pack of beer. those things are
relatively heavy as you know. Also equipment would break down
and refuse to stay repaired. Creepiest of all we also sold
novelty toys the motion detection type, kind of like that
"Billy Bass" thing they would go off by them selves even
with the store empty and the toys switched off!
Yup Bill was haunting the store alright and continues
to this day!
