My mother had a sad life. She came from a family who disowned her because she had a mental Illiness. My mother always tried to contact her family from Chattanoga Tennessee. My mother lived in Romeoville Illinois and her only form of communication with her family was an occasional phone call. I noticed that her Aunt Slyvia who married her uncle Ray was the only person who would write my mother. Mom and Slyvia exchanged letters for many years. One night I dreamed that Aunt Slyvia had died. I dreamed of her funeral in great detail. I saw in the dream she was buried with an open casket and had a lot of flowers. It was a bright sunny day. I saw uncle Ray in the dream dressed in black. Uncle Ray was sad, and was walking around the casket with family members. Slyvia came to me in the dream and told me to tell Hellen my mother that she was dead. Slyvia had a bright white light shinning from her. Slyvia was dressed in white. She kept insisting I tell my mother she had died. I woke up shaken and rushed to tell my mother. Mom was sleeping and I woke her up. I shook her and told her Aunt Slyvia came to me in a dream and told me to tell her she had died. Mom said that was not true Slyvia had just wrote her a letter, and Uncle Ray would have called her. I keep nagging my my mother to call Ray. Mom finally called Uncle Ray on the phone and asked about Aunt Slyvia. Uncle Ray told my mom that Slyvia had died a week ago, and they already had the funeral. Mom talked to Ray for a while. When mom got off the phone she looked at me and said I should have believed you. She looked sad because Aunt Slyvia was the only family member who had anything to do with her and now she was dead.
