Highway Incident- Angel Story

This is an experience that happened recently to me. I have a fear of accidents. When I go for a ride on our bike I keep judging the speed and distance of other vehicles. I know I cannot save myself in case of a mishap because my Husband (refer him as 'B') drives the bike and I sit behind.

This weekend we went for a long drive to some place. While we were returning I knew it would take more than 1.5 hours. It was cold out side. So I tied my head and face with a scarf. I pulled the cloth and tried to cover my eyes so that I stop looking at other moving vehicles. This gave me a warm and secure feeling.

After 1 hour we were near the city and took the Highway which was the shortest route back home. All the vehicles move very fast on the Highway. There was more rush because it was weekend. I was feeling bore so I decided to chant some holy mantras mentally.

Suddenly there was a screeching sound. Everything had come to a Halt. What happened more I dont remember.

I found 'B' and I were on the ground and my left part of the body was aching. We had actually met with an accident! that too on highway where every vehicle is coming at a high speed. When I realized this I was paralysed with the fear of getting crushed under the approaching vehicle. I just raised my right hand high trying to indicate the vehicle behind to stop. Though it was a very busy street I saw that the vehicles could stop in time and we were safe!

I know that guarding angel had come to protect us. I was chanting the mantras so my angel was throughtout near me. 'B' had applied Disc brakes when the vehicle infront of us took a sudden wrong turn without indicating. As a result we got popped up from our seats and were thrown parabolically on the highway street. But strange part is, I dont remember all this. My angel did not allow me to witness the accident as my eyes were closed. Also I did not get hurt badly!

Both 'B' and I have minor injuries on the left side of the body which will heal in a week or so. Thanks for reading :)
