Living Person's Ghost

My story is unusual in that I saw the ghost of someone living, who was also in the house at the same time.

It happened about 20 years ago. I was coming down the stairs of my house and saw my friend walk across the bottom of the stairs, looking straight ahead. At the bottom of the stairs was a large mirror which reflected the dining room; I could see the reflection from the stairs. In the reflection, I saw the back of the person walking through the dining room which led to the kitchen. All this time I was making my way down the stairs. I followed my friend through the dining room and into the kitchen, calling their name. Kind of thinking by now they had just gone to hide from me as a joke. So I was saying.. there's no point in hiding, I've already seen you. I put the light on in the kitchen, checked around and found no-one.

I walked back through and into the lounge where my friend was sitting with my mother - and had never moved!
