My name is Sam age 39. I live in Upstate, New York in a suburb of Rochester. In November of 1992 when I was 23, I had an out of body experience - Something I will never forget. I still remember it as if it happened yesterday.

My girlfriend and I just had a baby girl 2 months earlier in September, and we were living in City of Rochester, New York in the poorer section of Park Ave . We didn't have a bed frame, and the box spring and mattress was sitting in the middle of the room on the bedroom floor. The fan was running when we went to sleep.

I was sound asleep early in the morning when I suddenly left my body, and I was as high as the ceiling in the northwest corner of the room. I could see myself lying in bed next to my girlfriend, and I could see her too. I could also see my daughter's basinett, but was unable to see her in it, because it was in the other corner of the room. I could hear the fan running, but it sounded distant. I reallized that I wasn't dreaming. I had no phsical body at the time, but I could see and hear everything perfectly. At that moment I started to feel uncomfortable about being out of my body, and wanted to go back.

Within seconds I woke up, and my heart was beating very fast, and there was sweat all over my forhead. It's possible my heart stopped beating in my sleep for a whatever reason - And that's why I left my body. But I'm still here to tell about it.
