The Scariest Thing Ever

This happened 5 years ago, my wife and I had just bought our first house, it was really nice and surprisingly cheap (sorry for the spelling, lack of sleep is catching up with me)

Where we placed our bed, to the left, on the top of the wall was a vent, it was quite big for a vent, an average sized dog could fit into it without a struggle.

This all started the first night, I didn't experience anything but at around 6:30AM my wife woke me up and said something was in the room, I got up a looked around, I looked in the closet, under the bed, under the desks. Nothing.

We ignored it and went back to sleep.

The next night, I woke up and it felt like someone or something was sitting on the bed, I couldn't see anything though. Suddenly something caught my eye near the vent, the metal shades on it turned and revealed 2 eyes staring at me. They were curved as if the thing attached to them was mad.

I woke up my wife and we got out of there as fast as possible. We couldn't sleep for the rest of the night.

The next night my wife thought of just hanging a rug over the vent, I put hooks on the wall above the vent and hung a dark rug over it. We both were awoken at around 3:00AM that night and the rug was on our bed! The vent was fully open this time! We could see the eyes and nothing else!

We ran out of the room like there was no tomorrow.

The next night I poured flour all over the floor and all over our blanket. I even threw it on the walls, it left a faint mark, i know it wasn't all gonna stay there. We went to sleep. That night I woke up, but kept my eyes shut, I felt as if something was floating above me, and was staring at me nose to nose just waiting for me to open my eyes. I kept them shut very tight and soon fell asleep.

The next morning I was awoken by my wife who was freaking out. I looked around the room and there were marks in the flour, even face marks! One kind of print only had 3 fingers, they wearn't paw marks, just 3 fingers and a hand. Feet marks, and the were even on and blanket. There were faint claw marks going down the wall starting at the vent.

We moved out 2 days later without selling it.
