Was it a ND experience?

I was very sick at work on Monday March 30. I went home early and layed down on the sofa. And promptly lost consciousness. On Tuesday the following day, my boss tried to call me wondering why I wasn't at work. After calling several times, she was able to locate the phone number of the super's in my apt complex. They came up to check on me and called 911.
A vision/dream of some sort was I saw myself sitting in an ambulance, (for some reason, I knew it was an ambulance) but everything was very dark except for three men who appeared to be coming quickly towards me. They had blue jumpsuits on. (Ambulance people in this town where just regular clothes) I remember one had red hair as he was the closest to me. I felt like I was sitting in the middle of an empty ambulance with no equipment or bed and it felt like it was going over very rough roads as it was very rocky. I don't know if this was a near death experience or if I was just trying to become awake.
I'm a diabetic and I was in severe ketoacidosis. They told me my sugar level was 1000. Yes, 1000. I also had double pneumonia. They transferred me to another hospital because it was thought that I would need dialysis. I didn't thank God, but my kidney's must of looked like they were failing. I feel great now, but was in the Intensive Care unit for four days.
