This one morning when I was 10 or 11 years old, I woke up scared and wanting to cry. I had the strangest dream ever. I never knew what an OBE was until I met my friend Liz, who told me a story of an OBE that she had. Till this day I can remember my "dream" completely... if that's what you want to call it, I can still feel the fear and the helplessness that I felt. I know I will never forget.

I went to bed, just like every other night, same old, nothing new... well that's what I thought anyway.

I remember feeling like I was awake, but knew that something was off because I couldn't move, my arms were crossed over my chest and it was hard to breathe, then out of nowhere I flew into the furthest corner of my bedroom, then flew towards the corner adjacent to the first, then out of my bedroom door above my father, who was sleeping on the couch that night, I remember being so scared! that I was crying and screaming for him to wake up and help me, but he never woke, he just layed there sleeping, peacefully, and unaware of my presence floating above him, still with my arms crossed and not being able to control my direction, I flew back into my bedroom, back to the corners then back to my bed where I woke up scared and wanting my dad.

I'm not sure if you can classify this as an OBE, but I believe it is, and since then I've been scared for it to happen again.

There have been other "dreams" where I was flying and felt the way I did in that specific dream only I was outside jumping so high that it was almost like flying, but I was scared at first, but after awhile I realized nothing could hurt me, and I felt free and excited, my dream ended at my school, I woke up and felt nothing like I did in the first "floating dream".

Since then, I haven't had any other experience to relate to these so called dreams. Next time, if there is a next time, I hope I won't be so scared and hopefully be able to have some sort of control of myself.

Anyway, thanks for reading.
