Forest Demon?

I don't know what happened this day but I know it had to be a ghost or demon.

in July of 2007, some friends (alicia, brent and cam) and myself were out camping in the woods. A couple of weird things happened on the first few days.

At exactly 2:00PM every day our tents would randomly fall down, whetehr we were in them or not. We would constantly have to re-organize everything cause when ever we wern't looking our stuff would be messed up and moved. And during the night on the 3rd night there Alicia said she heard a really weird noise outside, she described it as sounding a bit like the grudge, but not as creepy.

Well anyway, on the 5th dat we were hanging out at the lake nearby and Brent had trouble starting his car (to get back to the camp site) and he didn't want to have to leave it to get some help. We ended up having to walk back but we got lost and ended up being out there at night time trying to find the camp site.

It was around 1:00AM when we were still looking and Brent randomly stopped in his tracks and telling everyone to look up at the trees, we asked him what it was and he didn't really know what to say, he said he could have sword he saw something big and black running across each tree following us. My first thought was a wild animal which scared the hell out of me.

We started to get a little worried and walked faster. By 2:00AM we still hadn't found it and in the past hour we had heard footsteps in the trees and an occasional cracking noise from the trees.

Something was following us and I was beginning to think we were gonna die. A few minuets later we ended up fidning Brents car again which meant we had gone in a circle, we had a rest inside the car. At 2:30AM (roughly) Alicia said she had a weird feeling as if she was being watched and I did too.

Now, what i'm going to say will probably sound fake but I promis its true but its ok if you don't belive me. At 3:00AM we had decided that we would stay in the car until morning. Cam had been pretty quiet but soon started freaking out for no reason, we asked him what it was and he said theres something infront of the car by the trees, we looked but it was too dark, Cam said there was something standing right infront of the car by the tree (btw the car was parked about 1 metre away from the trees.

Brent was basically standing up in his seat to see but couldn't, when suddenly we heard something land on the roof, our first thought was a tree branch but then came another noise as if someone was walking on top of the car.

We locked the doors and windows and waited to see what happened next. Nothing happened for about 5 minuets then the noise came back and we heard actual running across the roof and then on the trunk of the car, we looked back but nothing was there. When we turned back to the front and saw a tall dark figure standing by the tree. It was super tall and had a greyish black tone to it.

It was slowly swaying from side to side and that noise that Alicia had heard on the 3rd night started, it was like the grudge but not continuous, it kept stopping and starting.

Cam told Brent to try and start the car but Brent was frozen. Suddenly all the trees around us started shaking one by one, as if someone had gone up to them and started shaking them randomly, we looked back at that figure, it stopped swaying and stepped forward a bit and we saw its face, it was horrible, it was deff' not human, I can't even begin to describe it, it stepped back again and again, I can't describe it, it was like something that would happen in a horror movie, it disappeared into the trees so fast, but it barely moved, it didn't even turn around it just disapeared up into the trees.

Nothing else happened that night, about 2 hours later Brent got the car started and we were out of there, we finally found the camp site in the morning and the tents had been torn to shreads, there were actual claw marks in them. We never went back there and none of us like to talk about what happened. I still don't know what the hell happened but it was the scariest night of my life.
