My Dream of Jesus's Crucifixion
This was not my first dream of meeting Jesus Christ. Ever since I was small I've had numerous dreams about him. I have to admit that when I was a child it frightened me but as I got older I came to understand that Jesus is not to be feared, but adored instead.
The dream started as me dressed like a Roman Centurion. I was in command of over 100 men from the Roman Legion in Jerusalem (Biblical Times). I was walking to a modest home of a carpenter named Jesus. I was told that he could heal the sick and bring back the dead. My child was ill and I was hoping for a miracle. As I approached him he greeted me with a firm handshake and smile. He seemed to know what I was going to say before I could say it.
He was dressed in a flowing white garment and stood about 5' 11" tall. He had long shoulder length hair parted in the middle and his skin was olive toned. He had a beard that was trimmed and neat. He wore open toe sandals and his hands were rough and long. We walked toward the back of his home and sat on two wooden chairs. He said that he hoped I was comfortable cause he made them himself. As I looked into his deep brown eyes I felt so alive and the burdens of my life were relieved. He told me not to worry about my child and it was faith that healed her.
I told him that he was in danger and there was a issue for his arrest when he comes back to Jerusalem. he told me that he would return to the sacred city and sacrifice himself for the good of all human kind. The doors to heaven would be opened and the sins of the world would be heavier than the crossbeam that he would carry. He knew his fate but wasn't afraid of it. There was sadness in his eyes but also a glimmer of hope. As we spoke a soldier ran up to us to tell me the great news. My daughter was healed and feeling more alive than ever. I thanked Jesus with a warm hug and the soldier was confused. A Roman hugging a Jew was uncommon but I gave him a stare to keep quiet or else!. Jesus said "go in peace and spead the good news". he shook my hand again and I felt a powerful energy surge throughout my entire body. he walked away and I ran back to my post to see my reborn child.
The dream then goes forward to the crucifixion and I am leading three condemned men to their death. Jesus was the last in line as we walked through the narrow crowded streets of Jerusalem. He was tortured so bad that I hardly knew him as the same man who talked with me a few days before. His face was full of sweat and blood and his body was scourged beyond belief. His garments were soaked with blood and dirt and a crown of thorny branches sat like a cap on his swollen head. He was tired and his body was pale due to an large amount of blood loss. His feet were blue and I think he was dying as he carried the beam to his cross. At first he was to carry the complete cross and beam because the punishment was to be severe. It was not common for condemned people to carry the complete cross but Pilate wanted to make an example of him. So he did carry the complete cross until we reached the gates of Jerusalem. He fell for like the 7th time and he was breathing fast. I asked a bystander to help him carry the beam and we then disconnected it. Jesus was quiet for most of the agonizing walk but he did stop to pray and comfort his followers. He even asked forgiveness for the rest of us who were being so cruel to him. Deep inside I was heartbroken to lead him to his death but I remembered what he said about the eternal sacrifice he would make. He knew that I hated doing this but there was peace within his soul as I peered into his eyes.
When we reached the outside of Jerusalem we walked up a small hill that was used for crucifixions. There was the smell of decaying bodies left to rot on old crosses. There were flies everywhere and it was windy and full of dust. After we reached the top, the soldiers stripped him naked and put a loincloth around him. He screamed in pain as his wounds continued to bleed. Many people were present and they were mocking him. He spoke in Aramaic and a few other languages I didn't understand. I know he spoke Latin because of our conversation, but he was very wise and intelligent even up to his dying breath. I instructed my soldiers to get this over with quickly, but many of them had evil in their souls. They tortured him even more by throwing him down upon the cross. They stretched his arms to reach the bore hole that would meet at his wrists. A cruel soldier then picked up a 6 inch spike and with the force of a madman pounded it deep within his flesh. Contrary to movies the site was at his wrists and not the palm of his hand. Then we fastened ropes around his armpits and knees for better support on the cross.
His right arm was broken while being pulled to the wood of the cross and he was yelling to God for forgiveness yet again. This seemed to calm him down and I even caught him smiling at times. After his arms came his feet placed over the other. Again a huge spike was driven into his flesh and he screamed so loud that the walls of Jerusalem shook. He was pulled up to the cross hole and the cross went into place. He was upright and right between the other condemned men. The time went so slow and the weather changed from hot and sunny to dark and cold. Jesus continued to pray and forgive his accusers. He even forgave the rude criminal to his right and gave peace to the condemned man to his left. Telling him that paradise awaits them both. It was past noon and a few of his relatives came closer to the cross. He told one young man that he was now the sad women's son and same to her being his mom. Another women came close and kissed his feet and she seemed to be very close to him. I thought it might have been his wife because there was a look of love between them. Jesus's mom left with her adopted son, who I later found out was one of his disciples. As his family left, the cruel Hebrew leaders mocked him again and were about to throw stones at him. I ordered them to stop saying "hasn't this man suffered enough"?
Now the sky got pitch black and hail began to rain down on us who were left there. Jesus yelled "father why has thy forsaken me"? and he then said "it is completed and into thy hands I commend my soul". He dropped his head down and he died. A storm of rain then fell and it was frantic at the cross. I actually witnessed his soul leaving his tortured body and leading into the ground. I expected to see his spirit soar into heaven but he descended into hell instead!. It was at this time that my body actually froze in my dream. I saw Jesus in his glory descend at the gates of hell and confront Satan! Now before you think I am crazy this was like a dream within a vision. He was bright and full of golden light. Very powerful and determined to accomplish his goal. Satan was waiting for him and said "behold the son of man come to destroy my kingdom"! Jesus returned the favor and said " the prince of peace has come to release all those who have been dead in torment, Their eternal sleep is over and now they will reside with me in heaven". A host of Angelic figures were by his side including the Arc Angels who had huge wings and powerful bodies of light. Jesus lead the charge as he actually attacked the gates of hell. Satan was not pleased and his huge army refused to let them penetrate the fiery pit. After a long battle Satan gave in and many souls were released to Jesus. Satan then said that "this would be avenged and cursed humankind to be his slaves until Jesus walked the earth as man once again"
My vision then flashed back to Jerusalem and I saw bodies of the recently dead walking about. They were returning home and bearing witness to what Jesus did. It was amazing to see this miracle unfold and I took my horse and went back to my home. I went as fast as I could and fell off my horse. I woke up to a sunrise that made we witness Jesus rise from his grave. I saw some Roman soldiers fast asleep near his tomb and I walked past them. The tomb was empty except for some linen upon a flat rock. I ran around to a quiet field not far from the empty cross that I saw in the distance. Jesus then appeared to me and I knelt down to adore him. He said "rise and do not kneel again for I am not that type of king". The son of man is now glorified and will soon enter his kingdom. He was pure white with a glow around his body. His wounds were visible from his wrists only. I was motionless and could not speak. His energy was overpowering and he said "do not attempt to embrace me for I am in the spiritual form" I finally spoke and said "Lord are you God, the real creator of us all"?. He looked straight into my eyes and said "Amen to you for you are wise and true to faith. I am the alpha and the omega, the day and night, the father and son!" He smiled and said "go in peace to spread the good news that all sins are now forgiven as long as you believe in me". he then disappeared and I woke up from this dreamlike vision.
