Hi, my name is Kiki and my now 14 year old daughter has had experiences with dead family members guiding her in her past and now just 3 weeks ago. I will write about the most recent...
On 10-10-10 we were watching the Phillies when my daughter hugged our dog from behind...the dog was a 60 pound mixed breed we had had for 5 yrs since a puppy. The dog turned on her and visciously attacked her forehead and corner of eye area. I was sitting with them when it happened. The nature of the main wound was so severe that she had raw meat hanging from her head 4 inches long 2 inches deep, the blood was unlike anything I have ever seen. She was taken by ambulance and upon the ER Dr examination we were told she had nerves severed and that he could not do the repair.
A plastic surgeon was called in and so shortly thereafter an anesthesiologist came in to talk to us. She had never had surgery before. We were strangely calmed for the first time that night by this Dr...fixated on him almost. After he left my daughter said do we know him? I said no, I have never seen him before, but what is it about him? I told her he had a young but old look about him and she completely agreed with me...I thought she was going to say what the heck do you mean, mom?
So after she was home recovering about a day we were lying together and she sat up all swollen and bruised barely able to open her eyes. She said, mom, what about that anesthesiologist? I said what do you mean? She proceeds to tell me that he, of course, was the last face she saw going under and she said I know I know him....he looked so familiar, young but old and he had the most crystal clear blue eyes I had ever seen. She said she knew she was going to be fine, she was not scared at all, she actually was smiling. I stopped her and said to her I just got the chills.....you know your dead great-grandfather who died when I was 8 months pregnant with you was a doctor and had the most beautiful blue eyes many people had ever seen. I told her people who knew him say first what a wonderful doctor he was, and second that he had the most beautiful blue eyes.
So my daughter immediately says, it was him coming through that dr. I just know it. I knew that I knew him! He guided that whole OR for me! He was chief of staff at one time just a side note! This gets better; this dr. kept calling her by her first and middle name, which no one has EVER done before, yes it may have been on her records, but no one else was saying it. The irony here is that her middle name is after her great-great grandmother who he took care of for many years (it was his wife's mother (my grandmother)) and she drove him nuts with her lack of independence. We all loved little nanny, but ugh she worked on his nerves....so when the anesthesiologist would say this name to my daughter he almost snickered in a pleasant way that she was thinking what the heck is so funny? Well, my grandfather delighted in tongue-in-cheek humor so he was just giving her the "I can't believe you got her name!"
We think it was surely his guidance now as to why she has recovered and healed so beautifully...the plastic surgeon can't understand why she looks this good already. BUT we know why!
She has had other experiences, and so have I. But, this takes the cake! Thanks for reading and take each day as a blessing and make it count!
