My Guardian Angel

This is a real occurrence which I will never forget the rest of my life.

This story happened several years ago in summer when I was about 21 years old and was still in college in my hometown in the central part of the Philippines.

It was past midnight and I was already in bed sleeping. My room had two windows: one was on the wall near the foot of the bed and the other was on the right side where my bed was directly touching. Since it was summer, I kept the window on my right open so that fresh and cool air can come inside without anymore using electric fan and also because our family was saving on cost of electricity. It was around full moon and the sky was so clear that nothing really obscured the bright moonlight which partially lit my room through the window on my right side.

I wasn't sure if I had fallen asleep or half awake or what but my vision was so clear that until this time everything remains vivid to my mind. It was so quiet that night when all of a sudden there appeared on my left side, at the foot of my bed, a very tall man - between 6 feet and 7 feet, garbed in white habit and seemed to be floating on air. Though the room was dimly lit by moonlight, I saw him vividly, as like during daytime. With a very soft, loving voice, which I yet haven't have heard from somebody I've ever met, he said, "Don't be afraid. I am your guardian angel. Pray always to St. Michael." He seemed to be looking to the window on my right side into which I also looked to. There was another tall guy, wearing the same white habit and also floating on air. That man didn't say anything but was just looking at me and was smiling. Then the vision disappeared. At that time, I felt enveloped with love and courage and a feeling that someone was watching over me just like a child being watched by a mother.
