My NDE

My near death experience happened about 6 years ago, i was going through a rather stressful time, my father had a massive heart attack, i was suffering from stress, depression and anxiety so it only made me 10 times worse i was 23 at the time.

on this particular day, i told my mother that i was going to bed. it was a saturday afternoon at about 2oclock, i lay down on my bed fully clothed. i didnt feel strange or anything. i simply went to sleep. then all of a sudden i found i could not breathe. i wasnt scared or anything and it didnt hurt, it kind of felt surreal. this went on for about 5-6 seconds. then boom in an instant i was in this black void, like being in space but without the planets or stars. it was brilliant black yet i could see. i remember being in my lying down position when asleep. i remember thinking wow i cant move, and i could not see any arms or legs but they were there because i could feel them. i could only move my head.

i remember being facinated at where i was, because i was fully conscious like i was live in the physical world. i was me, i had the same feelings and thoughts. i looked around for about 30 seconds then this black void or space engulfed me. it was around my body as if looking at me or judging me somehow. i really do not know. then it expanded again into infinity. i was kinda in awe at this point thinking is this real, whats going on.

then in the far distance i saw a pin prick of light. i was amazed by this, thinking again is this real, is this happening to me. then it got bigger. and at this point i started to feel excited. nothing else mattered. i didnt think about my body or home or friends. not that i cared i did and do, but at that point all i focused on was this light. i was tranfixed. then all of a sudden this huge beam of light shone from this tiny speck of light, this brilliant radiant light. it shone past my right side. i remember thinking WOW this is amazing. the light could of been 20 feet away or 20 million miles. it didnt matter it all felt the same. i followed this as far as i could then i woke up in this world. then i went back to sleep.

I still do not understand why it happened. what it is i was meant to learn from it. it preplexes me everyday. but i have become more spiritual as it were. i have always belived in the afterlife and hell and ghosts and spirits and the mysteries of the world. its facinating to me, yet i still do not understand why. prehaps i was being shown that you dont have to be scared of death. i really dont know.

But i will continue to look at myself and become a better person.
