No Safe Place

Me and my brother and mum and dad were moveing into a house in Preston from Manchester and we moved into quite a big house. so as we moved in we watched TV in our new living room but this was only the beginning of my horror. it was 8pm and we were watching Eastenders. i heard wispering from behind me thinking it was my brother but i looked behind me and no one was there. my mother jumped out of her seat as fast as anything screaming. we all asked what was wrong. she said she heard someone say GET OUT. so thats when i paniced. me and my brother had to go to bed but i couldnt sleep because i kept seeing my door open and close. i thought i was dreaming it but as i was about to run down stairs i fell over something. but when i turned my light on there wasent anything there. so in the morning we found that our doors and windows were locked and we were trapped in. mum tried to call the police but the phone was dead and thats when i knew we were in no safe place. dad got a chair from the kitchen and smashed the windows so we could get out. as soon as we did we left imidately no questions asked. it was to get out and go. i will never ever go back to that place ever again so we moved to a different house in preston and this is 10 times better.
