Obsessing with a Vision

Ok, this has been driving me crazy for the past 8 years. It only happened when I was just closing my eyes to go to sleep. I was never asleep but merely closing my eyes. This unknown thing kept happening for over 2 months until I was diagnosed with 4th Stage Ovarian cancer. Up until I was told a miraculous healing had taken place in my body these visions continued. After the cancer was gone, they stoped! I am sad because what I saw was real but I am not sure if it falls in the catagory of a NDE. I am hoping someone out there can expain it to me...Here is my story...

Every single night for almost a year I would see, just as I would close my eyes, a distant light the size of a pin. I was a bright light that vibrated and pulsated with a white light. Suddenly I could feel this light growing and coming closer to me. I felt a peace coming from the light and knew that it was a devine force yet it never hurt my eyes to look into it. From within the center of the light came the faces of my Grandparents my brother and some people I thought I didn't know who all had passed away years ago. At first this freaked me out and I thought I was imagining it all. But night after night there was this light, this beautiful light. All the faces that would come through the light where all smiling at me.

Some with tears in there eyes, but smiling. When it stoped I couldn't help missing it. Now I search everything I can to see if anyone out there has had the same kind of experience. I can't help but feel that they were reassuring me that I would be Ok and getting me ready for the fight of my life.

I now serve as a missionary in Africa and lead a deeply religous life. I some how was blessed with a vision of the other side and this has filled me with great hope.
