Playing Cards with the Devil

my aunty could tell a good ghost story. in all fairness i thought she was making this up to start with, but detail to her story does make sense and does relate to mythology and paranomal activity. my grandad told the story to me after she did. he wouldn't lie.

his version of the story was pretty much the same as to my aunties but with greater detail. he stated that his grandad was sitting on his own at a table smoking a cigar. he was playing poker with his buisness collegues and after they left he was bored. he shuffled his cards looking down at them. he started to deal the cards placing 3 cards in the middle of the table with one card facing. apparently the card facing was an ace. he dealed 4 cards to the opposite side of the table and dealed 4 cards to himself. the next thing to happen was abnormal and pretty creepy. he looked down because he heard a loud bang under the table. he looked underneath the table to check out what it was. then noticed horse like hoofs then mammal like legs. he quickly glanced back up to the surface of the table and seen a human figure. he didnt know really what was happening but this creature flipped the cards and started playing cards with him. he carried on playing. the creature, which he beleived to be the devil mainly because in research to this story. mythologicaly the devil has hooved legs and from waist high is human. it lost the card game. supposedly the devil or demon walked out the house gently closing the door behind.
