Woman on the Cruise

About five years ago my family went on a cruise for my Mums birthday. It was a really big cruise ship. We had a pretty good room and since I'm not really a social person, I decided to stay in there allot by myself. On the first day while putting away my bags, I heard someone come in, I was in the bathroom at the time trying to find something so I didn't see who was there, I called out asking who it was and I didn't get an answer, so I ignored it. When I came out the door was open but no one seemed to have been in there. I sat down to listen to my music and read a book. I had forgotten my glasses while packing so the lights were on so I could read properly, after a few minuets a shadow was cast onto the page I was reading. I looked up and around me but no one was there. I decided to go find my family.

I got outside onto the main deck and somthing caught my eye. I saw a woman standing by herself looking out at the ocean but whats weird is she appeared to be transparent, plus she appeared to be wearing clothing from the 80's. if I had guess how old she was, I'd say she was in her mid 20s. This was seriously weird. I had to have a second glance, I thought I was dreaming, then someone actually walked through her. they didn't appear to notice her nor dodge her, they just walked through her. It was freaky. I ran off to find my family. I soon found them. I didn't tell them what happened cause I thought it was nuts.

That night when we were eating dinner, I looked behind me to see if anyone was at the cafe and when I looked back around I saw the same woman from earlier. she was across the room, leaning against the wall looking at me. I started to get really freaking out. I casually as possible asked my Dad if he saw a woman over there (where I was looking) and he said no. Later that night I was trying to get to sleep but wasn't tired. I got out my MP4 and started listening to some music. It was dark but not pitch black. after a few minuets I was in the state of half asleep and half awake. From the corner of my eye I saw a shadow type thing form by the door, I looked across still half asleep to see a womanly figure standing at the door. she seemed to be standing there motionless. I knew it wasn't my Mum, then it hit me, and I rememebered seeing that woman and I was instantly wide awake. I quikly turned on the light and there was no one there. I looked around the room and out into the main room. I wispered "Who are you?" I'm not one to be terrified of things like this so I wasn't really scared just startled. I never got an answer. the next morning, I was going to spend some time with my Mum. I had a shower and got ready, but when I stepped out of the shower I was startled to see something written in the fog on the mirror. The name 'Linda' was written on the mirror. The bathroom door was locked from the inside so no one could have gotten in without knocking the door down.

To this day I still don't know what happene on that cruise. Was Linda the name of the woman I saw? Plus, how did she die, did she die on the cruise or on another cruise? I guess no one will ever know.
