I am Jackie, a 30 year young woman, and in this life time I am an artist, musician, ceramicist and comedian. I am not from Russia, and I dont know much history or much about Russia, but I have always been drawn to it, especially Siberia. The movie "Fiddler on the Roof" almost made me cry, because it made me feel like I have been in a village like that, like I knew it, or missed it somehow.

Over some months I experienced a series of dreams happening in episodes. I see myself being born in a poor russian peasant family somewhere in the end of the 1700s. My family send me to a teacher to learn to read and write, later on that skill lands me a job as a secretary at a border crossing. I saw many interesting episodes happening in the place. I saw the kind of documents being used. Later on I searched on the internet and was surprised to find pictures of the passports of the time looking exactly like I saw in my dreams. I cognized details on how they were used. Sometimes I was wondering about the stuff from the dreams for example why the locals rarely went over the border (an internal border I think). And I found in books once that the locals werent allowed to do so.. The government everyone was afraid of, me too.

I see my boss yelling at me and my colleagues, he has those fiery eyes and everyone hates him... My "office" is a little wooden hut that is falling apart and the boss just gets mad if I tell him that it is leaking... So I fix it myself. The hut is not tight and in the winter the rats come inside because they are freezing. I find it is a good way to feed the dogs, so one day I kill them and I put them in a pot on the stove to cook them. Later on some of the border guards come in and one of them says: - Mmm.. It smells like chicken soup! I answer: - yeah help yourselves! He opens the lid and two rat heads swim up to the surface!

One night a girl in distress knocks on my door. She does not want to say what happened to her, but she is running away from something. I let her sleep on the floor and next morning I tell her how she can cross the border through the creek in the forest.

There would be gypsies travelling sometimes with their carriages, and they are notorious for smuggling all kinds of stuff including their own kids. One day my boss and my colleagues are standing right there while I look underneath a gypsy wagon, and I find a little kid around age 5-6 hiding! He looks at me with big scared eyes, then I get up and tell them all that everything is just fine! My boss is a jerk and as they drive away I feel a satisfaction of having fooled him!

(There is an american movie from 1970 with the same kind of opening scene, that I saw after having had my experience.)

There is another episode with a Gypsy lady travelling with her kids. I had something happening to me recently with a person who was very hard to deal with, and I was seeing no solution to the problem, she would not listen to me. Then I am having this experience, and see her being the Gypsy lady and what happened then. The very same morning after the experience, the problem I had with her this life time, suddenly and miraculously got resolved!

There seemed to be several religions in the area where I were then, one folk tradition was to make straw animals, which are then offered to evil spirits, to convince them to not do harm. I have a bunch of them in my hut, that travellers gave to me... In the winter they all go in the stove though, as they are really good for starting the fire!

There are many other stories that I cognized from this life time and others. I have read a great book called "MIG Pilot" from the time of Soviet Russia, and while I was reading it I would often go like, Oh, it is still like that over there!

I am fascinated by stories from border crossings and I even do my own radio show on the subject. I love helping people with legal stuff, but that is not my career as I am mostly an artist. And I like reading my own passport over and over again. Like for hours, you know. My friends tease me.

I dont know if this is a past life experience, or what it is. I do believe in past lives. I think the experiences are there to help us to evolve and for healing. If anyone knows something historical from 19 century Russia that relates to this please let me know. Cheers to all from here...miss J.
