A Comforting Voice

In May of 1988 my father was diagnosed with cancer, and given only 4 months to live. I was devastated, as 4 months later (September), I was to be married. I wanted so badly for my dad to be able to walk me down the aisle. One day I was alone at home and so filled with grief. All of a sudden I “felt” a presence, (whom I believe is my guardian angel), touch my shoulder, and I heard a voice in my head saying “everything will be all right”. I felt such a peace wash over me, and I never cried after that day, because I KNEW it would be OK. Well my dad did indeed live long enough (and healthy enough) to not only walk me down the aisle, but to see both my children born (which he correctly predicted both girl then boy!) before he passed away.

Sometime after that, my guardian angel once again spoke to me; as I pulled off to the side of the road to fix something in my car, and I got back into the car, my angel said “lock your doors”. I did lock my doors, and when I got to the next stop sign, a young man tried to get into my car! Very frightening!

I thank my guardian angel from the bottom of my heart for those two blessed experiences.
