Did You Turn on the Tap?

My friend Liv and I made a Ouija board out of some paper and a quarter as the pointer. I had my suspicions and apparently so did Liv. By the way this happened about 10 minutes ago. I wanted to see if Liv was moving the pointer so she told me to try it myself. About 2 minutes passed, and it was only quivering under the pressure of my pointer finger.

Suddenly Liv asked me, "Did you leave anything running in the bathroom?" No. We had both just gone to the bathroom after several intense sessions of Ouija. But I was the last one in the bathroom and I had made sure to turn the cold water tap off, as that was the only tap I turned on. But sure enough, you could clearly hear the steady flow of the tap running. we sat listening to see what was going on.

Finally we got up, unlocked the door, and walked down the hall. We peered in the bathroom, and sure enough there was the tap. It was a scary and devastating moment, the small room was dark, and the tap was alive. Instead of going in, we ran to the main room and explained to each other in sincere tones that none of us had left the tap on.

Finally, we linked arms and flicked on the light. To see the sink almost overflowing with steaming, boiling hot water. But get this: the sink was full- the plug was not in. There wasn't a great chance that the sink was plugged, as the drain had been recently cleaned. Peering into the sink, I half expected to see another reflection in the water, staring back at us. But don't worry- we didn't see any reflections.

But now we're going to play some more Ouija to see what was up with that incident. Did you turn the tap on?
