For years as a teenager and young adult, I would be laying in bed or on my couch when all of a sudden I would start to hear a loud buzzing or banging in my head, I could not move or close my eyes and I was paralyzed unable to move my arms or legs. The longer I stayed in this state, I would start to hear other noises around me - whispering conversations, talking, footsteps through my house, music, and many other noises . How could I be hearing all this when I am alone? When I would get to this point, I would panic and shake myself out of it, and finally be able to move. This went on for years and every time it was different and I would hear different people, I always knew that I was in the presence of either 1 or more entities that I couldn't see. As soon as I would hear them, I would get scared, and come back to my normal state, alone in my room. It wasn't until I was in my 40s that I was brave enough to stay with the OBE long enough to see where I would go and who or what I would see. If the things I have explained so far have ever happened to you, don't panic! This is the initial stage of Astral Projection. If you can get past the buzzing, tingling, and scary first 15 seconds you will soon find yourself experiencing something that can only be explained as spiritual and amazing. You can feel your astral body lifting from your physical body. In order to make this happen though, you have to make it happen by either thinking about it or lifting your arm (astral arm) or head to start the "lift". The sensation you feel as you lift away is unexplainable.

One experience I will share (I have so many): I lifted away and moved through my kitchen (when you move forward you are on your stomach in a horizontal position, but go vertical when you want to travel higher or lower) when I reached my kitchen door, I could see the glass panels of the french door in front of me and I stopped and thought, ok, I can't open the door. I guess I'll just go through it. It was nighttime and I knew I just wanted to go explore my neighborhood. There are a lot of trees so i got very high so I could just move over them and all of a sudden I was moving very quickly down my road. I could see everything, passing each house, I could feel the change in temperature and feel the breeze of movement I went through the wall of the second floor of one of my neighbors homes I had never been in. All of a sudden I was in a little girls bedroom, no one was home that i could tell. I all of a sudden felt bad because I felt I shouldn't be looking around in someones house, but at the same time I was so amazed that I was where I was and that I was seeing what I was seeing. I reached forward to see if I could touch something on a shelf and I could to a degree. It was hard to move anything, but one thing I touched must have been unstable and fell on the floor. I left the house as quickly as I entered it and the next thing i knew I was heading back to my house very quickly and back into my body. I guess I felt guilty I was there sneaking around. I'll do it again though. Happy traveling!
