Little Girl and Dents in the Wall

This location is common for youngsters to go and stay and do activities on a week away from school. I was ten when I visited Boreatton Park and I can assure you, I will NOT be going back anytime soon. Our whole year went to stay for a week as a treat for doing well in our exams as every previous year had done before us.
On the first night, it was fine but I could not sleep at all but I just think that the reason behind that was because it had been the first time I had been away from home. Finally I fell asleep only to wake in the morning to discover my friends entire one side of her head had been plaited but no one had done it because we all had taken turns brushing each others hair out The night before. it wasn't plaited neatly though, it was all messy and all over the place. Then we noticed the first dent in the wall - in the large wall space under my bunk bed. It looked like an eye. The shape and everything.
But the second night was when everything had kicked off. We were all laughing and gigging as girls do, when we heard boys crying. We were the only room of girls on the boys corridoor so we went to see what was going on. When we opened the door a whole eight rooms worth of boys (so you're talking about 40 boys here) were crying. We discovered that in one of the rooms above one of the lads beds was a face, smudged into the wall. It had a nose a mouth and two eyes, just the same as the one under my bed. So we went to sleep. I woke in the night to a strange noise. What I saw I will never be able to explain. There was a greyhound in the middle of the room barking but there was no sound. I buried my head under my blanket, shivering. Then when I stuck my head out again, there was a little girl, drenched and in a nightgown. She was crying. She was clutching a torn teddy bear. She crawled under everybody's beds and didn't crawl out of the last one.
Every night after that was okay the odd noise every now and again except the last night. A woman came into our room dressed beautifully, went to everyones bed and kissed their heads. Except mine. She walked to the middle of the room, turned, smiled sweetly at me and dissapeared. She knew I was awake and frightened I just know it. Also the eyes that had grown in number each night we stayed underneath my bed when we woke the following morning were gone. The dents in the wall were gone but I have a feeling the little girl under my friends bed is not.
