Out of the Body Experience

Apparently I have experienced out of the body sensations since my childhood without understanding what was happening to me.

The last time it occured 1 month back (Aug 2011). I had difficulty falling asleep and mind wandered thinking of my ongoing renovation project, my work etc etc until suddenly i felt that my body paralyzed me not my mind. i had already vaguely read about these sensations and therefore was not too scared.

I had a feeling of gradually exiting my body and flying above it. I felt completely conscious of the situation and fully in control of my thoughts. If you asked me a mathematical problem i would try to solve it logically as under normal circumstances. Then I flew around my apartment, when I was pretty far from my body i felt very uneasy and returned back and "dropped" inside. Then pushed by fear i tried to wake up and I could not do so immediately but then i finally managed and recalled every tiny second if this experience. It was so real.
