It was 1997, I was then a student and I lived at an old house near our college rented by medical students like me. We were about 15 living there at that time (all girls) We heard that the house was haunted but we didn't care coz the rent was so cheap. It was quite big and had 4 bedrooms, a spacious living room and at the basement it had 3 bathrooms, the kitchen and the dining room. I was told that about 2-3 years ago a young student comitted suicide in one of the toilet wherein she was found head down inside the toilet bowl, and she was found pregnant.

Lots of unusual things happened to us, there was this time my room mate was locked inside that same toilet and only to find out she was the only person that day. And one claim that she saw her room mate studying in the dining room and when she got to their bedroom seeing that the real person is actually sleeping inside. And the worst that happened is when one of my room mate Gem had a fight with her boyfriend, the guy won't go away unless he speak with Gem, and my room mate insisted to stay inside our room, in short her boyfriend stayed in the living room that night continously knocking angrily at our door calling for Gem.

Suddenly we noticed that the guy went from angry to scared and kept on pleading for us to open the door, we don't know why but we just ignored him. The following morning, we saw the guy crunched up at the sofa with the throw pillows on his face. He said he saw a lady in white gliding up from the basement towards him. We believe that its the girl who died in the toilet, and what we know is she doesn't want boys. Every time we have boy visitors around something unusual happens.

So it was November, it was all souls day, everybody was with their families to commemorate. I was about to leave as well when I decided to light up a candle for her. I said a little prayer for her soul, when I turned around to leave, I was at the door of the room then I stared back at the candle, I saw there was no light! I thought the wind might have blown it away so I decided to go back and light it up again, so as I step forward suddenly homehow the light slowly came back! I was so shocked and I felt that there is someone with me that time. And I remembered that I locked all windows before I lit up the candle. Maybe that is her way of saying thanks.
