Haunted Towers

One day my friend and I were bored of sitting around the house and decided to explore the half-deserted campus of FAU. (Florida Atlantic University) We had been in there before, but only to use the soda and snack machines, so this time we decided to explore these stairwell towers. We found one with a little back entrance where we could stash our bikes and opened to door to climb the stair case. Inside it was freezing (in the middle of the summer) and there was no air-conditioning in the stair well. We climbed up all the way to find the door to the roof open.

Obeying our curiosity we went out on the roof of the buildings that connected the two stairwells. In the middle of the roof there was this huge circular open area with a rectangular box in the middle of it. We went inside this area and it was once again freezing even though it was open to all the elements. Continuing along the rooftop, we came to the other stair well and went inside. The door at the top was unlocked and propped open so we went inside and closed the door which locked behind us. (This stair well was cold as well)

Starting down the stairs we started top hear whispers behind us. Footsteps following us. Screams, only we could hear. We hurried down the stairs coming to a part where the cement stairs were cracked and looked like they were about to collapse. We jumped over them best we could feel them creek beneath our feet. We continued running down the steps, the footsteps following close behind. Upon hitting the ground floor, we discovered the door was locked. We were terrified and didnt want to go back up, but we sucked it up and ran all out up the first flight of stairs. We ran inside the first door we saw. And closed it fast behind us. We never went back in those towers, but I remember as we left through the building I looked back through the little window in the door only to find myself staring strait back at two red eyes belonging to a hanging ghost in the stairwell.
