In the country of Louisiana, there was a school that was once an old plantation. There was a legend that during the Civil War, the owner's son went to fight. When the Yanks came closer to his home he took three barrels of gold and buried it. His son never came home and he died of sadness. No one ever tried looking for the gold. When the kids go outside you can hear a train whistle coming from an old train track from the left side of the school. We also sometimes see a wrecked car deep into the woods. Sometimes a cross will apear in the trees. We also know the school was built on an Indian burial ground.

Recently, some people tried looking for the gold. They were walking in the marsh along a pine groove where the gold was supposed to be buried. Then in the brush a hog ran out and injured one of the scouts. Another expedition included where they saw the owner burying his gold and then they heard musket gunfire and the old man ran to the woods. Is this story true? Most likely. If you don't believe it come to Cajun Country of Southern Louisiana in New Iberia where the good times roll.
