My best friend and I had season passports to an amusement park here in Kansas City, MO called Worlds of Fun. Our favorite ride in the park is The Orient Express. One Saturday night we were going to ride it again (we had riden it about 4 or 5 times already) when I felt that we shouldn't go on that ride just yet, so we went to a dance studio in the amusement park and danced for a while. About 10 minutes later I heard one of the employees saying that the ride had went off the track and people were dangling from the top of the hill and some were stuck on the upside down loops. My mom was at home watching the news when it came on and she immediatly drove up there to see if we were okay. She told us that on the news they showed people dropping from the ride. I dont think anyone was killed, but many people were hurt. I am thankful for whatever made me change my mind that day.
