An Angel Out to Protect Me

My mom and I were going to take a trip to Fresno to spend Christmas with our uncle and family. Which was a six hour drive so we packed and left. We got to our families house to spend a great Christmas dinner. My mom had the whole week off and she has a lot of friends in Fresno while we were here my mom and her friends decided to go and spend New Years in San Diego with us. So my mom and I decided to go back home and organize the New Years party a day ahead. So when they got their everything would be set. So we said goodbye to my uncle and family we got in the car and headed back to San Diego.

MY mom and I were talking about how good it would to be back home and we were also listening to music and laughing away when suddenly my mom lost control of the car while going through a steep curve next thing you know we head straight to a post which caused to flip 3 times in the air and landed upside down I remember seeing everything in slow motion in the corner of my eyes I could see my mom looking at me but I was looking at an open soda can that was spinning around in the air and I was afraid it was going to hit my mom or me. And when we landed I took my seatbelt off and feel on top of the windshield. We couldn't open the doors and I felt like I couldn't breath, so my mom had to kick the door open so we could get out of the car.

When we got out of the car we looked at each other to see if anything had happened to us and to my surprise there was not a scratch on us, even though there was sodas with ice in the front seat and a big pan of lasagna in the back seat that my mom friend had made for her. Until this day we thank God that we are alive. We also thank God for sending an Angel from the Heavens to help us when we needed it most. Thank you for taking the time to read my story.
