Angel Over My Bed

I am a long-time meditator (about 10 years) and also use prayer as a part of my spiritual practice.

Lately, I've noticed that whenever I say a prayer before going to sleep, a white figure appears over my bed. It's hard to describe, but I see this figure while I'm sleeping, as if through my mind's eye. The figure, who's gender is indeterminate, is shadowy, but I see it hanging parallel over my bed; the face is downwards watching me closely. It seems sheathed in white or light colored robes, and enormous wings appear behind it.

When this figure appears, I feel extremely comforted and protected and enjoy a deep restful sleep. I think this apparition is one of my guardian angels looking out over me.
