In 1984, I lived in a old house down in the heart of the southwest of Western Australia. The only comapny I had in this small country town was my young son who was 2 years old when we moved there. The only real contact I had in the early days of country living was the occasional visit from family or friends. so most of my time was devoted to raising my son and restoring the old house. This one particular day, I was out the back of my house washing and hanging clothes on the line, while my young son watched the childrens programs. suddenly I had an overwhelming sense that something was wrong with my son. So I put my washing dow and went quickly to the lounge room. My son had disapeared and was no where to be seen. I dont know if I managed to even get out an O Lord show me where he is ? before the answer came ! He is down by the creek ! Go quickly ! with that I ran out of the house as fast as I could and through my neigbors fence. As I ran I noticed his small shoe laying on its side, so I scooped it up and began yelling for him at the top of my lungs. There he was standing by the winter creek, which was running at a very fast speed. My young son was soaked from head to toe, having obviously fallen into the water. Yet there he was standing unharmed without a scratch on him. I thanked God, for his angel who had obviously rescued my son and warned me of the danger. God is good, and now after many years I can tell you of many stories in which the Lord has sent his angels to protect and help us.
