I was having difficulties raising my 10-year old daughter on my own. I was completely at the end-of-my rope. 

That night she told me that she really wanted to go to the bowling alley with my sister and nephew to be among our family. I agreed and my daughter and I went there and my sister and nephew were to meet us there. They had not shown up yet so I sat at a table and ordered a beer to relax me. My daughter went off to talk to some friends. It was noisy from the music, the kids and the strobe lights were also distracting. I was talking to someone, at my table, when this hippish-looking lady comes over to my table, lowers herself down to one knee to say something with a huge, friendly smile on her face.

I didn't hear what she had said to me and had to ask her to repeat what she said, she said "Jesus told me to tell you he loves you". She was serious and I was shocked. I said something like, "this was a bad night for me, I really needed to hear something like that, thanks. 

She just said again that he just wanted me to tell you that he loves you, that's all. She got up and left, like she was just carrying out her duty. I've never had anyone say anything like that to me before. It was a night when I had cried over my daughter, she had tried to run away, and it was the perfect time to hear that.
