Just To Let You Know, I'm Here

I have had several spiritual/ghostly experiences, but one that remains with me the most is a moment when I heard a voice tell me to buy a lottery ticket. It was such a minor comment, but I think it must have been a guardian angel letting me know they were there.

I was a student at an expensive private arts college in Seattle. It was my first year and I had to come up with an extra $100.00 for my placement deposit, it is the deposit schools have to ensure my place for the year. Well, my husband (live in boyfriend at the time) and I weren't well off, and I didn't have my school loans, yet, so the $100.00 would have made a very tight month. So, I prayed that we would manage. Well, out of the blue, my grandmother sent me $50.00. She usually only sent money on holidays, even Valentines Day and Halloween, but there was no holiday coming. I thanked God, and just said, "I just need $50.00 more."

Later in the week, I was walking to the convenience store to buy milk, and all of a sudden this loud voice in my head said, "I'm going to buy a lottery ticket and win $50 bucks." I know I said, "I'm," but it wasn't my thought at all, not even my voice. Well, I thought, "I'll bite." SO, I bought a lottery ticket with my milk, and low and behold, I WON $50 BUCKS!! I now had my full $100.00!!! I ran home as fast as I could to tell my husband, I couldn't believe it!!!

Sometimes I wonder why that voice doesn't appear when I REALLY need help in making decisions, but I think my angel was just letting me know I do have help, and to listen to my heart, because that's where my angel will be lending an ear and giving advice! Love and joy to you all!
