I Believe

Let my just start out by saying that I've never done this kind of thing before, and I've never shared this story with anyone else, but my family. You might think this is just coincidence, but I believe that my guardian angel was with me. Here is my story.
It was my sophomore year of high school, and every Wednesday morning at 7:30, my youth group met at Hardee's for breakfast. Since I didn't have a car yet, I always got a ride from Erika, who lived in my subdivision. Well, the night before (Tuesday night) I called her to ask if I was still getting a ride from her. I don't know why I did this, cause she always picked me up anyways. Erika told me that she had to pick up another person from the youth group who lived way out in the country, and that she didn't want me getting up any earlier than I had to. Therefore, Erika told me that it would be easier on her if I got a ride from someone else just that one time. I told her that I didn't mind getting up earlier to go pick someone else up. (I've been on a swim team for 11 years, and I'm used to getting up before the sun.) Still, she insisted that I find another ride. So, I did, and I went to breakfast at Hardee's with my youth group. Well, we sat there, but Erika never showed up. I thought, maybe she got sick or something, so I didn't think much of it. So, my ride dropped me off at school, and the rest of my youth group met me right at the door. It was weired, cause they were all asking me if I was alright, and if I got hurt at all, and what happened? I stood there dumbfounded, and said that I had no idea what they were all talking about. Then, one of them told me that Erika had been in a car accident that morning. The passenger side of the car was hit head on by a jeep going about 55 mph. If I had taked a ride with her that morning, I wouldn't be here today, cause the passenger side of the car was completely smashed in. There would have been no way I would have survived.
Erika walked away with only a sprained ankle, and nothing more.
To this day I believe without a doubt that my guardian angel watches over me 24/7. I can't express my thanks enough to him/her. I am eternally greatful.
