My name is Chris my friends call me Javo. I am a freshman at the University of Wisconsin Parkside. When I was a freshman in high school my family was troubled by the sickness of my little sister Courtney. Now there are plenty of stories i could tell from this time but this one really sticks out. On the week my sister was supposed to die I was sitting in the lounge of the intensive care just thinking to my self. Not many people were in the room at the time until a huge family of eight walked in. Only one person caught my eye that was the grandmother of this family. She seemed to be an wise old woman. No matter what I had this deep feeling that I had to talk to her. Well we talked and i told her my story. She said that i had a very strong faith and she asked to see my sister. When we went to my sisters room she told my family that Courtney was not in a coma like the doctors have told us. She told me that she would come back to see me. Now Courtney was getting better that soon she was out of the coma so I knew this lady was my guardian angel who came to console me. The other thing was since that day I never saw anyone from that family. Courtney did die but i feel very blessed that God gave me eight months to say goodbye.
