Let me begin by telling you about my husband. In Nov. of 1997 my husband was diagnosed with choriocarcinoma, a type of testicular cancer, he was only 23. My husband went through numerous cancer treatments. His original cancer level was 169,000. By the time of his 3rd treatment his level had dropped to 280. In Jan of 1998 my husband had to be life flighted from a small hospital to a University hospital in Pgh. He had severe internal bleeding which was caused by complications of his cancer. He had to have exploratory surgery to find out where the bleeding was coming from. Things looked very grim. The doctors couldn't get his blood pressure stabilized. They feared that he would bleed to death. Finally they got his blood pressure under control and went ahead with the surgery.

Nine hours later we found out that he had a tumor on his pancreas the size of a football. This tumor caused a major artery (aorta) and his bowels to join. The tumor deteriorated and also caused the "joint" to deteriorate as well, thus causing his internal bleeding. The doctors had to end surgery early because they felt that he was too worn out to continue. They planned to go back in 2 days later to finish repairing and cleaning everything. The days went so fast and it was time for the doctors to go back to surgery. I was permitted to visit with my husband before he was taken down to the operating room.

I had watched a show on TV about angels. A man prayed to the Lord to send down an angel to heal his son. His son was healed. I asked my husband if he would let me pray to God to send an angel down to touch and heal him. He couldn't talk because he had a breathing tube in his mouth, but he nodded his head, "Yes". I began to pray.

I asked God to please, please send an angel down to touch my husband and make him well. I just kept saying the same prayer over and over. I looked up while I was praying and saw what looked like snow made of light falling down on my husband. I didn't mention it to my husband at that time, I just figured it to be my overactive imagination.

In the next few months my husband had numerous surgeries related to his cancer. At one point the doctors said that he had less than 5% of surviving everything. If he had been a 70 yr. old man they wouldn't even had tried this hard. One doctor even said to me face to face, "Your husband is going to die".

I put my trust in God, and He was telling me different. One morning while in the ICU room with my husband, his father had called to tell him about a vision a woman had of my husband in an ICU room with angels surrounding his bed. (His father lived in Massachusetts, we were near Pittsburgh, the woman had never been there to visit my husband)

While I was on the phone with his father I brought up what I had seen while I was in the ICU room with my husband, praying. I look over at my husband and see that he is once again nodding his head. So I asked him if he knew what I was talking about. He nodded his head, "Yes!". I then asked him if he had seen the "snow" too. Once again, he nodded his head, "Yes!". So much for my overactive imagination.

As for my husband, he is doing fine and well 2 years after his first major surgery. By the way, his cancer level was less than 2 the last time it was checked. 0-15 is normal.

All I can do is thank God everyday!
